Griffens Marina Houseboat trip 2022
Hello again,
The sights and sounds of a new trip is calling, here are a few images from a recent trip onboard one of Griffens Marina’s beautiful houseboats, is always such a treat to spend some quality time cruising up this section of the river Murray in South Australia.
I had a couple of “target” species that I was hoping to see and was not disappointed, had all sorts of weather this trip and even a storm came through and made for some really colorful morning sunrise images…
Hope you like these few images from this recent adventure aboard “Scallywag”

A whistling Kite has locked onto some baby Pacific Black Duck chicks, watched with batted breath as he circled around on a few attempts but Mum was relentless in her defense of her young, the chicks also dived under the water so on this occasion it was a happy ending as Whistles flew off with empty talons

Our last morning on the trip, till next time….
Griffens Marina's hire houseboats are located exclusively on one of the most picturesque and uncrowded river stretches along the entire Murray River, in the Riverland region of South Australia only 90 minutes from Adelaide through the beautiful Barossa Valley.
Cannot rate them highly enough, the boats are always perfectly kitted out, spotlessly clean and so enjoyable, truly the best way to take in the beautiful Murray River and all its nature and sights.
