"Barrage fishing & diving Terns"
Down to the Coorong National Park again this time after those avian fishing masters the diving Terns.
The Coorong National Park is a spectacular saline lagoon stretching 140km. It is separated from the Southern Ocean by sand dunes and is ideal for birdwatching and photography.

This is how to perform the tern twist... they need to do this to exhale all the water swallowed on a dive
They do this arial twist after every dive to shake off the excess water
Shake that tail feather....
Twisting by the pool...

A fabulous place that I visit as often as I can and always worth while stopping by the Barrage as the elevated position can be a great place to capture and see these remarkable flying fishing birds....
