Kangaroo Island Trip

Hello Again,

Back from Kangaroo Island staying at the beautiful

“House On The Hill”

What a treat, with stunning views and everything you could ask for at your doorstep, beautifully appointed throughout, so very peaceful and private and with visits from the local Kangaroos, koala and Echidna right on their 5 acre property, here are just a few images from this trip.

The House

House on the hill is a house with a strong inside-outside connection. The living and outside areas are north facing with sweeping sea views. One can experience the unique location from all rooms at any time of the day and throughout the seasons.

Bedroom: There is a Queen-size bed with views over the trees to the ocean.
Bathroom: White tiles, a jarrah vanity top and a large window facing the sea.
Kitchen and living: A large open space with an adjoining deck. The stainless steel kitchen with gas stove and electric oven, has all necessary utensils and basic cooking requriments.
3m high sliding doors open onto the main deck and below
there is a BBQ deck
For cooler days there is an open fire for heating the living areas a 4m long day bed at the end of the room looks out over the landscape to the water.

An outside shower sits under the trees for an after beach wash.
The house is private on its 5 acres but only 700m from the 4.5km beach of Emu Bay.
